Navigating the world of fiction--and especially the genre of science-fiction and fantasy--can be difficult. So sometimes it helps if another has traveled the road ahead of you and can provide you a map.

Notes: Books are listed by author. Series by the same author and of the same rating are separated by dashes, and following each title is listed the current number books in that series. If a book title is given followed by the series name, I've only read that title from the series and do not have current plans to read further.
